Edison Gramophone, a label that honors the tradition of classical music while opening a bridge toward contemporary classical sensibility, continues its spiritual and existential series with the new single by Praise Orchestra: “THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.”

🎹 Composed by Pedro Eleftheriou, the work features a special appearance by renowned classical pianist Julia Amirova, whose interpretation transforms technique into presence — and sound into revelation. In this recording, the acoustic piano does not merely carry the melody: it lights an inner space. 🕊️ Inspired by one of the pillars of Christian philosophy — Jesus’ words “I am the light of the world” — the composition translates into music the certainty that those who follow Christ do not walk in darkness. Here, light is direction, meaning, and path. The theme begins with the simplicity of a small flame: chords arriving like careful steps, humble yet steady; notes that seem to touch the ground of the soul before rising upward. Julia Amirova’s phrasing reveals a rare balance between tenderness and conviction: every dynamic breathes like hope, and every pause carries the silence of trust.
