STELLA MARIS - PRAISE ORCHESTRA

Composer, artist, and multi-producer Pedro Eleftheriou unveils his latest work with Praise Orchestra: the new instrumental single “STELLA MARIS”, now available on all digital platforms.
A neo-classical contemporary gospel composition, the piece delicately blends acoustic piano, subtle guitar textures, an ethereal vocal layer, and a deeply emotional violin solo, crafting a soundscape that is both intimate and transcendent.

The title Stella Maris — Latin for Star of the Sea — is one of the most ancient invocations of the Virgin Mary, symbolizing her as a radiant guide who leads the faithful through the tempests of life. In Christian tradition, Mary is revered as the light that offers direction, comfort, and hope in moments of uncertainty and fear.

Through this instrumental reflection, Eleftheriou transforms these spiritual ideas into sound, evoking the feeling of peace and protection that arises when one finds divine light upon the horizon.

More than a religious portrayal, “Stella Maris” is a universal metaphor for humanity’s constant search for guidance and serenity. Each piano movement mirrors the rhythm of the ocean, while the violin soars like a lighthouse guiding souls toward calm waters.

Even without words, the composition becomes a sonic prayer — a sacred space of contemplation where faith and beauty merge into one.

With this new release, Pedro Eleftheriou continues the artistic mission of Praise Orchestra: to elevate contemporary Christian music through beauty, universality, and emotional depth.

“STELLA MARIS” stands as both a spiritual journey and a musical offering — an invitation to navigate the vast sea of faith with light as your compass.
