🎼 EDISON Gramophone, a label devoted
to preserving the heritage of classical music while building bridges toward the
contemporary language of emotion, presents the new single by PRAISE ORCHESTRA: “leaves
fall, and so does time.” This release continues Edison’s series of recordings
that embody the label’s identity as a balance between acoustic tradition and
contemporary classical — where artistic excellence and human depth walk
together, and where music becomes presence.
🎹 Composed by Pedro Eleftheriou, the track is an
intimate, contemplative, and refined instrumental work — a worship ballad
performed as solo piano by the composer himself. With emotion and lyricism,
Eleftheriou guides the listener through a sonic landscape where instrumental
gospel meets neo-classical, contemporary classical, crossover, and the delicate
aura of acoustic new age — without excess, without spectacle: only truth.
🕊️ In this recording, the spiritual
universe of Praise Orchestra unfolds with serenity and density: the music does
not “explain” faith — it breathes it. Each chord feels like a step; each pause,
like prayer. The piano becomes the interpreter of words that do not need to be
spoken, pointing tenderly toward what sustains us when everything changes: the
Light, the Presence, and the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
🍂 THE POETIC AND EXISTENTIAL ESSENCE
OF “leaves fall, and so does time”
“Leaves fall and so does time” is a contemporary instrumental worship meditation on the fleeting nature of life — a reflection in which nature becomes a mirror of existence. Just as a tree blossoms, grows, matures, and bears fruit, autumn also arrives: inevitable, silent, transformative. Leaves fall not as defeat, but as the revelation of a cycle that does not ask permission from human desire. There are moments when we do not want to see this new face of time — we prefer the radiance of the peak, the illusion of permanence. But life teaches us with the real: everything passes. And that lesson can feel cruel in practical terms, because it forces us to face loss, limits, and farewells. Yet when carried through faith, the weight becomes softer: impermanence ceases to be merely an ending and becomes a path — an invitation to awareness, gratitude, and meaning.

✨ Within the
purely solo piano aesthetic, the music does what words cannot: it translates
the inner autumn into living hope. The melody overflows the instrument like a
prayer without language — a voice that draws us away from disillusion and
apathy, and returns us to the promise. Christ, in this sonic narrative, is not
a distant idea, but a Presence that holds the hand: if we remain with Him, the
promise is fulfilled; life does not end in the simple, dry way the world tries
to condition us to accept. The piano points, with emotion, toward the Light and
toward Grace that consoles — and at the same time awakens a loving urgency: to
live each moment in fullness, yes, but always on the path of Goodness and Love
(agápē). Because when leaves fall and time passes, what remains is what was
lived in truth — and what was entrusted to the Light.
🎹 THE PERFORMANCE: THE PIANO AS PRAYER
Pedro Eleftheriou leads the piece with a sense of time that breathes: his touch is precise, never rigid; emotional, never excessive. The piano emerges as a silent altar and as a landscape — at times intimate like a whisper, at times wide as a golden horizon. The interpretation does not pursue virtuosity as an end, but presence as a destination: helping the listener forget the world’s noise in order to remember what matters — living hope, guiding light, sustaining grace.
